Working Farm Lodge in Hesket Newmarket
Accommodation
Howbeck Lodge offers a country cabin, a shepherd's hut, a camping pod, and pitches for caravans, motorhomes, and tents. The country cabin has a twin bed, TV, radiator, fan, a kitchen with hob, microwave, sink, and mini fridge freezer, plus a bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower. A patio outside the cabin comes with chairs and a barbecue.
Farm Grounds and Amenities
The site is a working farm with sheep, goats, ponies, and a Highland cow. A stream runs through the grounds, and the terrace, garden, and picnic area provide outdoor space with river views. Guests can use the barbecue facilities, on-site parking, and picnic tables.
Dining and Food
Breakfast in the room and room service are available, and guests can pre-order evening meals prepared by the host and collected from the farmhouse. The packed lunch includes homemade cakes, pastries, kettle chips, and fresh sandwiches. A BBQ pack with jacket potatoes and homemade salads is delivered to the pod.
